Most Common Issues At French Tutoring

I asked our awesome teacher Jackie to compile 3-5 of the most common issues she sees come up during her tutoring sessions with our students. Jackie, as always, goes the extra mile and she put together this excellent chart that went into much more detail and as I read over it, I had so many flash backs of filling in these knowledge gaps with my own students.

This chart is aimed at French immersion students, and if your child is in French immersion, checking in if there are any gaps here would be a worth while endeavour. You’d be surprised how many grade 8 students  I have encountered over the years in camp or in tutoring, who have trouble conjugating present tense verbs and counting to 100. When they come to tutoring we can catch these easy to fix problems so that they don’t persist any further.

Check out our LPP Snow Gnomes that my friend Agnes over at Mindful Makers Camp in Waterloo, Ontario helped me create!  Unfortunately the big guy started to melt and he fell over and crushed the little guys, but they were very popular while they lasted! And them melting means warmer weather is coming!
