In-Person Summer, Winter, March Break and PA Day Camps

1. Hours of Operation

  • Program Hours: The Les Petites Pommes Camp Programs Hours are:
    • Drop Off: 8:45 am-9:00 am
    • Pick Up: 3:30pm-3:45pm
    • Before Care: 8:15 am-8:45 am
    • After Care: 3:45 pm-5:00 pm

2. Registration and Payment

  • Registration: Camp registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. A full or partial payment is required at the time of registration to secure your child’s spot in the camp.
  • Payment Methods: Payments can be made through our website using a credit card or other accepted payment methods.

3. Refund and Credit Policy

  • Refund Eligibility: You are eligible for a refund if the request is made at least one month before the camp’s start date. After this period, no refunds will be issued.
  • Refund Fees:
    • Administrative Fee: All refund requests are subject to a $25 administrative fee.
    • Transaction Fee: A 2.9% charge will also be applied to the total refund amount to cover processing fees.
  • Credit for Late Cancellations: If you cancel within one month of the camp start date, your registration fee will be converted into a credit. Credits issued are not redeemable for cash.
    • Credit Expiry: Credits must be used within one year from the initial purchase date.
    • Non-Transferable Credits: Credits are non-transferable outside of the immediate family (e.g., siblings, parents, or children).
  • Less Than 24 Hours: No credits will be issued for cancellations with less than 24 hour notice.
  • Weather, Pandemics and Other Events Preventing Camp:  In the event of snow days, floods, pandemics or other events that prevent camp, either a credit or alternative event online or otherwise will be issued. 

4. Late Pick-Up

  • Late Pick-Up: Parents must pick up their children by the scheduled time (Regular 3:45 pm or Aftercare 5:00 pm). A late fee of $10 per minute will be charged for any minute passed the appropriate time. This fee is due within 5 days of the infraction. Consistent late pick-ups may result in the removal of your child from the program.

5. Health and Safety

  • Medical Information: Parents must provide up-to-date medical information for their child, including allergies, medications, and emergency contacts.
  • Illness Policy: If a child is sick or shows symptoms of illness, they should not attend camp. If a child becomes ill during camp, parents will be contacted to pick up their child immediately.
  • Injury Protocol: In case of minor injuries, basic first aid will be administered, and parents will be notified. For more serious injuries, emergency services will be contacted and parents will be notified immediately. 
  • Allergy Awareness: Our program is nut-free. Please ensure that any food brought from home adheres to this policy.

6. Behaviour Expectations

  • Code of Conduct: Campers are expected to follow the camp rules and treat other campers and staff with respect. Bullying, disruptive behaviour, or failure to follow instructions may result in dismissal from the camp without a refund.

7. Personal Belongings

  • Valuables: Campers should not bring valuable items to camp. Les Petites Pommes is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

8. Weather Policy

  • Outdoor Activities: The camp program includes outdoor activities. Please dress your child appropriately for the weather, including sunscreen, hats, water bottles, indoor shoes, rain and snow gear as needed.
  • Inclement Weather: In the event of severe weather, camp activities may be moved indoors or rescheduled. Parents will be notified of any significant changes to the schedule.

9. Communication

  • Parent Updates: Parents will receive regular updates about camp activities, schedules, and any changes via email or the communication platform provided at registration.
  • Emergency Contact: Ensure that your contact information is up-to-date so that you can be reached quickly in case of an emergency.

10. Events That May Prevent Camp:

  • Snowstorms: Please note that in the event of a snow-storm, we will do our very best to keep the camp open, however if our staff are unable to get to camp (if HSR is cancelled for example) we will have to cancel in-person service. We will do our best to offer an online alternative however no refunds will be provided.
  • Pandemics and Other Events Preventing Camp : In the event of floods, pandemics or other events that prevent in-person camp, we will do our best to offer an online alternative however no refunds will be provided.
