LPP Picnic Playlist!

Music is a powerful tool when learning a second language. Music and language share several structural similarities, such as rhythm, pitch, and tone. These shared features enable the brain to process music and speech using similar neural pathways.

This is why whenever possible, we like to engage our students with different types of French music! Sometimes actively learning songs together to passive music we can listen to in the background.

The playlist I’m sharing with you is for the latter. It was initially created by myself and some older students in 2019 as our vibe music for our Les Petites Pommes 10 Year Anniversary Picnic, which it is affectionately named after.

Recommended uses of this playlist include background music at a picnic, a long drive, crafting, cooking or anything else when you want to have a happy ambiance. I also updated the list to include one of my own personal tracks from my album called “Bonne Nuit” (which you can check out here!) It happened to fit the vibe check 🙂

I have linked it below for both Spotify Music and Apple Music users! Happy Listening!
