I can’t believe it’s our 15th summer of camp! In 2009, when I was still in university, I thought “Les Petites Pommes French Immersion Summer Camp” was going to be for 1 summer.
I didn’t realize the level of impact I was going to be able to have on helping children feel confident in themselves in their learning abilities, I didn’t realize the amazing families it was going to allow me to meet, I didn’t realize the immense privilege of getting to be part of their journeys and the honour of being able to help create happy learning memories for them, I didn’t realize the great joy I could feel hearing a child say that Les Petites Pommes is where their favourite learning memories happened, I didn’t realize the pride I’d feel for my team when a student would tell me about their favourite Les Petites Pommes tutor, I didn’t realize that entrepreneurship was even available as such an exciting career path coming from a humanities background, I didn’t realize we were going to have a pandemic that would bring us all online but give us the chance to have Petites Pommes now across Canada, I didn’t realize that I’d later get to continue building this dream with my childhood friend John(our director), I didn’t realize that it was going to become my life’s work.
I’m so grateful to all of you and thanks for being part of this incredible journey!
This past June 15th, we had our 15th-anniversary apple pie picnic! Thanks to everyone who popped in through out the day and to everyone who shared their happy Les Petites Pommes memories with us!

My mom was in charge of handing out the apple pie and ice-cream while Sam, one of our teachers (and also former students) did lots of beautiful face painting!
